After having a physical checkup in June 2017 I decided that something had to change and I wanted to live a long healthy life with my children. I started making changes on 7/21/17, I changed the way I was eating and started exercising 5 days a week. For the longest time I attended the group fitness class, Strong, 3 days a week taught by Melissa, Abby and Jess. This class and the instructors are what kept me coming back. I was 349 pounds when I started and I’m currently 235 pounds! In 1 year I lost 114 pounds! I have more to go but I am so much happier and healthier and I give a lot of credit to the JAC instructors! JAC has helped change my life and I enjoy coming to work out. Don’t give up, I hit a lot of bumps but I worked hard. It wasn’t easy and at times I just wanted to go eat whatever, you got to stay focused because the end results are so worth it. And the kids club is great by the way!
