Coronavirus Update 3/17/20

Dear JAC Family Members,

Many of you have asked questions regarding our continuing response to the               Coronavirus situation.  We very much want to keep everyone safe while still providing a safe place to exercise. We will be following all guidelines suggested by our local and federal agencies.   Governor Evers has prohibited mass gatherings of 50 or more people in a single room.   The club has many rooms and a total of 80,000 square feet of space which can easily provide for proper social distancing; however, out of an abundance of caution, we are making some changes from now until the end of the month as the White House believes diligence over the next few weeks will slow the spread in 15 days.

  • No kids Club
  • No Group Fitness or Team Classes
  • No Guests
  • No Basketball, Pickleball or Volleyball games

In addition to those changes we are asking all members to spread out when exercising.  Please allow yourself and fellow members 6 feet of space.  We will be putting some cardio equipment out of service to maintain the suggested 6 feet of social distancing.  As in our last update, we request that you not come to the club if you are ill or have a cough or have been around any close family members or friends who have been ill.  Please stay home and recover, we will be here for you when you get better!  If you are worried about coming to the club but still want to get a terrific workout and maintain your progress we have some good news! We have partnered with Les Mills, the world leader in group fitness, to provide 95 free workouts across 8 categories that you can do from home!  We will email the access link soon.  These will be available to members  until this concern passes. Changing up your workouts is beneficial, making some   changes over the next couple weeks can be a good thing.

As this is an ongoing situation and we are greatly concerned with your safety and the safety of our employees we will continue to update you with any new changes we are making in concert with local and federal guidelines.

Experts agree that regular exercise and good nutrition are your keys to great health and well being and your best defense against all illness and disease.
